Function of the device: The detector produces a stable electromagnetic field with the help of a sensor coil. This magnetic field induces eddy currents in the object being tested. As different materials absorb electromagnetic microwaves in different ways, the device makes it possible not only to detect the object but to determine its exact location and range.
